 did your pdfs stop printing on your hp designjet ?

So, I was getting calls from all over the nation. People were suddenly not able to print their PDFs. It clearly wasn't the same issue as last year's Microsoft Update snafu, but it smelled the same. After spending a whole weekend researching I found this:
...Yes, it is from a MIcrosoft update that hit your computer sometime between Sept 2021 and now.
...Yes it is caused by Adobe being affected by that update in a way that won't let the print get into the print queue.
...No, you just can't remove the update, because it will keep coming back
...I worked with a couple of my very reliable Designjet users to develop a solution
...Call me  651-247-3022  and I can help by using my remote control software to look at your screen and help you get printing again. I I get you printing again, I will charge you $50 via Paypal (no you don't need a Paypal account.)
...I'm still hoping Microsoft or Adobe will send an update that will fix the update. That hasn't happened yet.
...The longer this goes on the more people will abandon their old Designjets and buy new ones for thousands of dollars.

If you own an HP Designjet 600 or 650C plotter you may have found it darn near impossible to find cartridges for that old workhorse. I know you will be pleased to see that someone is selling refilled #26 HP Ink Cartridges on Amazon. I usually encourage folks not to buy refilled but in the case of the HP  #26 ink cartridge you don't have many options. These cartridges are $29 as I write this and in beig refilled the wires that often corrode on the original cartridges willl have been looked at by a real human, one hopes.
