  • Control Panel
    • LED
      • Will tell you what you need to do/know
    • Buttons
      • Menu (Up, Down, Previous, Enter)
      • Printed Menu
      • Color/Mono
      • Form Feed/Cut
      • Cancel
  • Loading Paper
    • Single Sheet
    • Roll
      • Orientation of Roll: Like toilet paper up and over…see the diagram on roll cover.
      • Pull out an arm’s length
      • Align – To align pull paper straight down and match right side of top paper to paper underneath.
      • Type of paper…you can trick a misbehaving machine with choosing thinner or thicker paper.
  • Cartridges
    • Install while machine is on and press ACCESS CARTRIDGES button
      • As you snap each into place it will show on the display on the LED window.
      • After installation the machine will run a cartridge alignment
      • If it doesn’t recognize cartridge, try licking the front of the cartridge on the contact strip. Sounds dumb, but it often works!
    • Resuscitating Misbehaving Cartridges
      • Soak in hot water for 15 minutes then do the “Whip Snap” Shake into a sink now turn the cartridge upside down and look for two lines of ink
      • Wipe it – Hot Water – Soak
      • Paper Plate and Folded Wet Paper Towels – Press down & release slowly – look for two solid parallel lines. If there’s a break in the lines, there is a blockage on the jets.
