- Load driver for your operating system – Use USB Drive or download
- Plug it in and leave it ON

- Carriage –
- You can move via belt ONLY when turned OFF
- The light on side of carriage reads paper and encoder mark
- Ink cartridges – Put in while machine is ON

- Silver Encoder Strip – Clean ONLY with water & lint free fabric or soft paper towel
- Slider Rods – 3 drops of oil every three months

- Orientation of Roll: Like toilet paper up and over…see the diagram on roll cover.
- Pull out an arm’s length
- Align – To align pull paper straight down and match right side of top paper to paper underneath.
- Type of paper…you can trick a misbehaving machine with choosing thinner or thicker paper.
- Cartridges
- Install while machine is on and press ACCESS CARTRIDGES button
- As you snap each into place it will show on the display on the LED window.
- After installation the machine will run a cartridge alignment
- If it doesn’t recognize cartridge, try licking the front of the cartridge on the contact strip. Sounds dumb, but it often works!
- Resuscitating Misbehaving Cartridges
- Soak in hot water for 15 minutes then do the “Whip Snap” Shake into a sink now turn the cartridge upside down and look for two lines of ink
- Wipe it – Hot Water – Soak
- Paper Plate and Folded Wet Paper Towels – Press down & release slowly – look for two solid parallel lines. If there’s a break in the lines, there is a blockage on the jets.
- Install while machine is on and press ACCESS CARTRIDGES button
